Sitting on the FENCE about going ORGANIC? The 4 types of FOODS best to buy organic when CONSTIPATED

What foods best to buy organic?  Or why bother at all?

If you’ve been battling constipation and still sitting on the fence regarding going organic, think again.

Pesticides with your potatoes. Have some hormones with your ham, or antibiotics if you like. And a little mercury with your fish fillet can’t hurt, can it?

All of which lingering in your gut for days or even weeks when your bowels aren’t kicking them out in a timely manner.

So if you’re still sitting on the fence regarding going organic why not dip your toes into it and see how you like it.

The 4 types of foods best to buy organic:

  1. Start buying the best quality you can or want to afford for just one food where you least like what’s in it other than what nature put there.
  2. If you like meat or dairy, try hormone free, antibiotic free products. Then take it up a notch next time and go for organic, or at least grass fed.
  3. Check out the Dirty Dozen list of most contaminated fruit and vegetables. If there’s a list for the country where you live, use that list. And then start buying these foods from organic sources.
  4. Then only buy non-organic what’s on the Clean Fifteen list of least contaminated produce to take things further.

Keep it practical – you don’t need to go 100% organic to benefit from it. If you focus on what you’re most concerned about, you can reduce your toxic load from your food while still keeping costs down.

But is it really so bad to have trace amounts of contaminants with your dinner?

Authoritative sources tell us it’s safe. Surely they know what they’re talking about.

Yes and no. Yes when it comes to testing individual substances for their health impact. But no for what is the reality of our daily lives.

Most of our food comes with a chemical cocktail, courtesy of modern agricultural magic and food industry inventiveness

Which hasn’t been tested. Let alone proven to be safe.

Some people chain smoke all their lives and live well into their 90s. Just like some of us will be able to cope with the toxic load we’re exposed to and not get sick.

But do you know which group you belong to?

Best to play it safe rather than regretting it when it’s too late.

So next time you do your groceries, start making the shift to clean high quality products by buying just one or two items that you’re particularly concerned about in better quality . Many supermarkets now stock some organic products. Have a look and you might be surprised.
