Create tiny changes to implement your constipation solution bit by bit.
Select a specific change you would like to make. Think about how you can make it as small as possible to start with. Then build it up over time to its full extent.
For example, if your goal is to drink 2 liters of water a day:
- Start off with drinking a shot glass of water right after getting up in the morning.
- When this has become a habit, choose a bigger glass.
- Then add even more water into your day by getting a small water bottle and sip on it throughout the day.
- Then upgrade to a bigger bottle and so forth.
Don’t underestimate this just because it’s so simple.
Or if you want to get more exercise, start with say just one lunge or squat per day and then build this up over time.
The key is to keep things small initially and then build them up. Before you know it, you’ll be well on the way towards getting your digestion going again.
